Beosound Core Question

I have an older Core without the ability to connect an ir eye. If I purchased a new Core and an ir eye, would I have more control of it with the remote? Or would it operate just the same functions as my current Core with control through Bluetooth and BR1?

You will loos the 2 ways control with information in tunein radio. 

And also the 2 ways source.

So I dont see any point to change the core, to Get IR eye.

Ir eye is only use if your core is in a other part off house, like technical room where the Bluetooth not work. Then the ir eye is a solution.
