Hi,

With BS9000 only AAUX select AAUX input.

But how to inject a NRADIO or NMUSIC source ?

Thanks

1. You can have a BeoPort (or Beolink PC2) box connect to a computer and then connected to the BS9000 via ML cable. However, this solution is very old and I'm not even sure that the computer software is still up to date. I remember the tedium of this solution of having to remember what numeric value is assigned to which album or radio station from your computer's music library.

2. You can have a BeoSound 5 connected to the BS9000 via ML cable. This provides much better control since you can select the music on the BeoSound 5.

3. You can connect an NL/ML Converter to the BS9000 via ML with the converter assigned the role of "source center." Then, you can assign NL sources, such as Deezer or TuneIn from an NL device, to the two available sources of N.Music and N.Radio.

if I understand well we can add only digital media or 1 analog with 1611 converter ?

Can NL ML converter manage internet radio ?

Can NL ML converter manage an Hard drive with wav files ?

Unfortunately I haven't found any full user nanual for NL ML converter 😒

Thanks!

BLC - no support internet radio, no support for controlling HDD with wav's.

To get these you need a NL product like a Beoplay A6, A9, BS35, BS Core, BS Encore mkII.................. and if you want to connect the BS9000 to one of these you need a BLC also. (But you still will have no option to remote control a Beogram)

A 1611 converter has nothing to do with N.Music or N.Radio.

N.Music and N.Radio are merely source commands. The BeoSound 5 is the ideal connection to provide NAS music and internet radio to these sources. Know that the NL/ML Converter only adds a way to MAP NL sources to the N.Music and N.Radio commands. The NL/ML Converter does not itself provide those sources. You would need an NL device, such as a BeoPlay M5, Moment, Essence, etc., to PROVIDE Deezer or TuneIn to map those to N.Music and N.Radio. The NL/ML Converter does not have Deezer and TuneIn built-in.

This was introduced in the BS9000 after the introduction of the BS5. After ML connecting both and after the correct settings, these sources from the BS5 were available on the BS9000

Thanks everybody for your answers!!

Now it more clear for me.

1 does this converter works with all ML products? For ex. Ouverture?

2 where to find any manual? I founded only 19 pages pdf with only safety  notes !!!

I think you're still not quite understanding.

N.Music and N.Radio are sources available for DLNA and internet radio respectfully IF you connect a BeoSound 5 to your BS9000 via ML cable. No converter is needed for that.

The 1611 converter is used if you want to integrate an older MCL music system into an ML network. Since a BS9000 is already ML, you don't need a 1611 converter.

An NL/ML Converter is used to interface ML with NL. It is not the same as a 1611 converter. An NL/ML Converter can let you map desired NL sources (such as Deezer, TuneIn, etc.) to be called-up using the N.Music or N.Radio commands on the BS9000. The NL/ML Converter does not, however, provide those sources. You also need an NL music device such as BeoSound Moment, Essence, BeoPlay M5, etc., to provide those music sources. the NL/ML Converter serves only as a bridge to which you can map those NLsources to ML remote source commands.
