Hello I am a new member of the forum.
I have beosound 9000 mk3 CD player - changer and have this problem, it required cleaning of sensors because it displayed frequently cleaning required , and was working in safe mode, eg. Tray was moving slowly, now is all OK, it reads disks fine except this problem.
When switching between disks every combination works except when switching from disk 6 to 1 device tourn of it loses power and tray slips to position 6 because it has vertical stand positioned so 6 is bottom and 1 top side. Then it turns on and tray goes to position 1 and stays in stand by. If I turn it on it plays disk 1.
If device is positioned laying flat on the table it turns of between disks 2 and 1 and do the same except not falling to disk 6 because of no gravity to do that.
Does anyone have any idea about solution?
Hi Chakey,
please make sure that the CD drive mechanism is centered according to it's position (the arrow screws on the back of BS9000 are properly turned),
then please run TM 71 and 73.
Let us know if it didn't help.
TM71 and TM 73 are meant to be used after service. It’s never a cause.
TS has a BS9000 which needs cleaning of the sensor next to the sledgemotor. The BS9000 is placed vertical and dust causes loss of pulses at the sensor. The system get’s confused and stalls. In the meantime power has been *** off and the sledge drops to the bottom.
The sensor needs to he cleaned but a huge warning: it’s very, very sensitive for static energy and alcohol doesn’t help either.
Beobuddy,
how do you get to that sensor ?
Hi, I finally got a chance to work on the beosound 9000
CD is in the correct position and it plays CDs without any errors except when you want to switch from CD 6 to cd 1.
I have entered to service mode and firstly read errors with tm23 and no errors were present. Then I tried tm71 and tm73 and got massage wrong src/tm.
What could be the problem not to execute tm71
Is that sensor located on the sledge itself or on edge right of cd 1?
I found where I was wrong. You supposed to select CD before pressing tm71 and tm73. In tm71 I get same error in the start of testing as soon as CD go from 6 to 5.
Now I have errors in tm 27 it says cd error 2 and 1 slg 30.
Any idea?
Marko,
are you sure as to CD error 1 ?
In Service Manual CD errors start from 02 - Focus error ( maybe you could put another disk in pos 6 ? or clean lens ?)
Sledge error 30 means CC sledge pos count error - a counter error has been registered on the signal from the sledge tacho. It isregistered at 35IC2 pin 1, 44, 5 and 9
which I personally don't know what it means
