Hello,
i have BeoLab 8000 and beolab 2 connected to a Samsung tv through connection hub. I just bought the speaker and the sub, and 2 hours in while I was watching tv, a loud bang came from the speaker and the speaker and sub turned red light. When I unplug the power and plug it in again, they will turn green in 1 sec and then red again. When I connect the whole thing without the sub it works fine, so the sub somehow taken damage. Do anyone of you guys now what did happen and what has to repaired on the beolab 2?

Your system goes in protection mode.It sound like a power supply failure that ie board 01 LF/SUPPLY.You can download the servicemanual here on Beoworld.On page 5.9 you can test and see if the voltages are presents

Its the amplifier board 03 ICE1000AM there has been shorted. If they have the replace the board it cost as much as a used BL2. Do you think it can be repaired instead of replacing the board? By third party repair center
