I have a 1970’s BeoGram 1202. Please can someone tell me how to remove the chrome spindle in the centre of the turntable deck. I want to remove the large round metal plate that resides beneath the turntable. I’d show a photo but the crappy upload facility isn’t working with my iphone. Cheers.

At the lower end of the shaft there is a gear attached with a pin, push out the pin to free the gear and pull up the shaft with the plate
