Hallo , my first post so be gentle please. I'm trying to repair my CD player, the CD carrier tray of which will not open. Can someone kindly tell me how I remove the main cover to see what the problem actually is. Sorry if this is very basic and been covered many times before
No problems worked out how to remove the cover
a CD had jammed with its leading edge raised - the CD tray would never have come out. Closing it up now and hoping thats all the problem was......the system is 32 years old and has never given a problem till now
Hi rcljersey and welcome! Good to hear you fixed the issue.
I too own this cd player, I only managed to jam the tray when loading a cd that I did not put in correctly. The elegant design demands a bit of precision I guess.
