The latest Hi-Fi news has a review of the Beomaster 2400-2 in by the well known B&O expert Tim Jarman.
Very fair review and test - this was the very first B&O receiver I bought! And probably the best looking.

Since I just picked up a BM2400 I'll have to look for that. Here's something I don't know, how do you tell a BM2400 from a BM2400-2?

I'm afraid I'm recovering from the BeoVirus.
The 2400-2 has a different volume control with more gradations - 32 instead of 16. The display also changes slightly.
Ah, thanks Peter. I haven’t gotten it hooked up yet, later today I hope to have it up and running and will see which version it is.
