Would appreciate any help! Just purchased an Audioengine B1 Premium Bluetooth Receiver (https://audioengineusa.com/product_tech_specs/b1-bluetooth-music-receiver/) and trying to connect it to a Beomaster 4500 with a RCA to 7-pin DIN adapter cable. Pairing the device to my iPhone, I can hear music very softly from the Beolabs (iPhone volume all the way up, still need to put my head next to speaker). This happens with B1 connected to any of the Tape/CD/Aux inputs. Resetting and re-pairing B1 (as suggested in the manual) does not work.

At which volume is the BM4500 set?

How are the speakers connected?

PS, the Beomaster is hooked up to the Beolabs using PL and the bluetooth receiver is hooked up to the Beomaster input via RCA>DIN converter cable.

If it does not work to use the PL cables to connect bluetooth receiver>Beomaster>8000s in this configuration, could I leave the PL connection in place to use the Beogram CD and also have separate RCA connectors from the bluetooth receiver to the line inputs on the 8000s? Then, I could just use the switches on the back of each Beolab when I want to go from using the Beomaster (to use the Beograms) to streaming from my iPhone? Is there potential for damage to the system if I did?
Thanks.

Some RCA to 7-pin DIN adapter cables are made for taking the signal out of a device and deliever it to another through the RCA’s.

Could it be that you use a wrong adapter cable?

Did you test yours with another device?
