I do, but not with me.

Suggestions:

- Are you using your usual remote? Could remote be accidentally set to LINK mode?

- Does BS1 have an internal Lithium battery that is now dead?

- Does not clock need to be set while unit is in stand-by?

could it be this is MK1?

As far as I remember only MKII had the build-in-clock.

Pressing << and >> in standby leads to what?

AU -> MKI

clock: MKII

(In MKII you have to press CD< and CD> to get AU)

Just do what I recommended. .Press << and >> (simultaneous) in Standby.

pretty sure it will display "AU" (=AUX) if it's a MKI

Don't know about type number differences but I think SW2.0 and up is MKII

If you check serial number and it’s 16306078 and above it should have clock and wake up alarm facility. Information from Beoworld some time back,that I copied for my own information. I can’t find the actual web archive page as not at home.
