Hi folks,

At first, I hope you will understand my bad English. It’s not my mother tongue.

on Friday I will order the new BV eclipse by my dealer.

So I have an BS 9000 and 2 beautiful beolab 18 on this. Everything is fine and sounds good.

If I connect the BS 9000 with the eclipse and the beolab 18s with the eclipse , is it possible to hear music from bs 9000 through eclipse to beolab 18. Yes it is. Of course.

Main question. Is it also possible and the eclipse will not be turned on???

Thank you

Hej Michael,

not sure I quite understand your question?

If you use the Eclipse, it of course, will turn on.

How do you expect your setup to be - please bring some more details.

And - didn't your dealer have the answer for that?

I will be on Friday by my dealer.

I will not turn on the tv every time when I like to hear my music from bs 9000.

But I like to connect the bl 18 via wisa to the bv.

If this is not possible, I will connect the bl 18s to the bs 9000.

BS9000 and Eclipse will not "talk" with each other.

You have to connect BS9000 to Eclipse using AUX or line in or similar to use speakers connected to Eclipse.

Not sure Eclipse will "wake up" automatically if you play e.g a CD on the BS9000, though.

Michael/EgonOlsen don’t want the tv/the Eclipse to turn on, when he uses the BS9000.

Question is: how does the screen/the LG display react, when something is played through the SoundCenter (and the connected BL18’s)....

....if I have understood the question.

Hi folks,

Not a big deal. I will try what is possible or not. I will give you a response.

The eclipse looks very good in real. With the oak cover it should looking very good with the bl 18s.

Thank you.

I don't have anything connected to my Line-In, but if I select another audio only source, the source name (e.g. Tune-In/Deezer) is briefly displayed on the screen, and then the screen is black.  It appears that the last software update fixed the issue where selecting Spotify would turn the screen a shocking green color as I don't see this anymore.

One thing to check, when I look through the settings, I don't see an "auto-sense" setting for the Line-In - meaning, you may have to select "Line-In" on the TV (or Beo App) to play your BS9000 vs. just turning on the BS9000 and the BV automatically senses this and starts playing.  Also, I think the BS9000 needs some kind of adapter to make it think it has speakers connected to it... although this might depend on the model / software version.

Hi, just saw this thread.  May I ask how you connect the BS9000 to Eclipse, via the digital out or via the powerlink? I cannot figure out how to connect my BS9000 to Eclipse.  BS9000 has a digital out, but  Eclipse doesn't have digital in.  Only Optical or line-in. So I got stuck.

Thanks in advance !

Merry Christmas,

via Powerlink by Eclipse to BS 9000 line in(Aux)

You need an Adapter PL/Lineout to connect the BS 9000 via the  Aux. First setup the Eclipse PL to lineout.

The Beolabs are connected in BS 9000.

The digital out by BS9000 is only for the CD-Modus.
