Hey guys,

I'm not sure the best place to post this, so feel free to move if need be.

I have what I believe to be the first and only hands on video of the BeoVision 11. I recorded it the day after the launch, at their flagship store,

It's about 10mins long, please feel free to check it out.

BeoVision 11 hands on video,

You're welcome. Very cruel indeed lol.  It wouldn't fit in my carry on lol.

Even more beautiful in person, and the audio is nothing short of amazing.

Has anyone bought one yet ?

I'm very interested in this TV , it looks like the true successor to the avant that I've been waiting so long for..

When i saw one of these the other day i was truly in awe of the picture quality the depth colour and sharpness blew me away and the sound quality is really nice to. I had a few issues which developed with my loewe and although i could have got a replacement i thought that i would wait it out for the new individual, although the v1 is really starting to grow on me.

Theres yet to be any new owners for the bv11.

Nice article in the very stylish and elegant Wallpaper magazine...

Bang & Olufsen may be one of Denmark's best-known brands - and the first call for design-led high-end domestic audio and video goodies - but times have been a little tough of late. It admits that aborted plans to launch a mobile phone were a distraction and the global down turn, of course, has had some impact on demand. But with a new CEO in place (Tue Mantoni, a 36-year old Dane who already has the turnaround of Triumph motorcycles on his CV), the company now has a new focus, drive and commitment to concentrate on what it has always done best.

The new BeoVision 11 television is proof of how much it is adapting to the new demands for cross-platform 'content delivery' while sticking to its guns in terms of design and sound quality.

Described by Bang & Olufsen as 'the all-in-one entertainment and information hub for the entire family', BeoVision 11 can handle all your 2D, 3D, Smart TV, hopping, surfing and replaying needs. It also does smart things like adjusting the picture to compensate for the light in the room. And the sound, pumped out of six speakers, is second to none of course.

But what really has us sold on the BeoVision 11 is its minimal good looks. The speakers are concealed behind a single bold block of colour, which comes in six different fabric options so you can colour co-ordinate. And we love the easel stand, one of a number of display options, which allows for that insouciant canvas-waiting-to-be-hung approach.

Paul, It would be a momentous Beoworld occasion to see you post a "BV11 unboxing thread" !

I'm sure it would be possible to haggle a deal on the easel stand keeping you under the magical 5k barrier.

This tv is under your skin. i'd love to see you cave in.

Although the remote costs extra too... Whistle

Can't believe the beoremote app is iPad only. What are B&O thinking!? I'd much rather use an iPhone, as many do controlling their Apple TV.

Undies

Hi BeoUndies,

Yes i'm sure I could negotiate that stand to be included - I think with our on going recession, people are desperate to sell! I'm presuming the Beo4 is included though!

Yes an iPhone app is definitely needed as I won't be buying an iPad because I don't need one :)
