Hi everyone
I have a Beolab 8000 in working condition , but has a background noise (brumm) all the time .
the internal connection from the audio plug to the amplifier I have disconnected both side , the background sound remains stedy on. because of this sound the loudspeacker is not going to the standby mode.
the dissolfing foam I have removed and the prints are cleaned from the remaining trash.
Does anybody has an idea how to proceed?
Thanks for answers.
regards Ueli
Hello Ueli
I am new to B&O. I also have 8000s which make a hum ... until I connect them to an amplifier or a smart phone.
As soon as the cables are connected to a signal source, the hum disappears 100%.
What are they connected to when they are humming? Through what cables?
Thanks for the reply. I have several BL8000 , normaly I connect them to my mobile, and only this one has the hum noise . I will try to connect to amplifier.
the problem is: If this noise is still present , the loudspeacker does not go to standby mode, He thinks the source of music is still on.
I will update you.....
hi
its with all the sources the same! With the sound in the back I could live, its not hearable when music is playing , the problem is: the loudspeacker is no more going to standby mode. ( I think the sound is the reason that the sound shows the system , that there is still input on the cinch.
thanks for further inputs..
