I need a rubber sleeve for my Ipad 3rd generation for my Beoplay A3. Can someone please help me where to get the Rubber sleeves. I can buy 1 who ever has an extra or want to get rid of it. Thank you so much. My name is Chris.

Same here, I contacted B&O if they still sell the rubber gasket for an iPad2, but they gave me a negative answer.

Also my local dealer does not have any.

Has anyone been able to source this spare part or maybe there is a chance to print one with a 3D printer.

any help is appreciated

Hi, I'm using a first generation iPad with mine.  I have drawn a blank on getting rubber gaskets but I have used four self adhesive velcro pads which hold the iPad securely in place and are not seen when in use.  The sound quality is great but, due to the age of the iPad, I can't get any streaming services.  I can play music stored on the iPad and the Tune In Radio app works.  Hope that helps.

Hi have also thought of using black silicone sealant and masking tape to make a gasket but, per my previous post re velcro, as that is working fine for me I'm sticking with that solution.

If you are lucky enough to have (or to get) one of these, you can use that as a radio.....not for much more.

But since a lot like to have radio playing all day long, it might be handy.

The sound is great!

My A3 runs with TuneIn (older version, but functional) and when not used as a radio, it runs a clock app.

My tip: use one of these small devices for controlling the volume and pausing from afar.

Not cheap, but I would miss mine, when not there.

N.B.

At least in Denmark you still can get hold of a complete A3, which might be the only version to get hold on the right rubber bumpers.

Not totally true Smile

Actually I use mine as a mobile TV using VLC which connect to an UPNP server for TVshows, movies, vidéos etc… or more rarely to watch via TV channels apps. It can also connect to the house audio library thanks to the iTunes homesharing.

A really useful little thing!

That’s true indeed - but that goes under the ‘more’ of my ‘not for much more’ ;-)

I also use mine for listening to music from my NAS.....using the Logitech Media Server there and the iPeng app on A3-iPad.

That way - by the way - I have access to Spotify and co, too.

Although I previously have used it as a tv (via the EyeTV app) the small screen is too small for video....at least for me.
