Hi.
I have a beosound 2500 and 2 beolab 2500 speakers connected to BS by Powerlink cables.
If I connect to BS 2500 by Aux plug a Bluetooth adapter ( using a 3,5 mm jack- 5or7pins cable) I can perfectly hear my IPad/Phone music.
If I connect directly the adapter to Beolab speakers using the same cable, it does not work!
I wish to use my beolab 2500 speakers wireless using Bluetooth adapter not through Bs2500. Please could someone tell what I am doing wrong? I tested 2 different adapters and both work well by BS Aux, but not By speakers.
thank you in advances
The Beolab speakers need a power on signal on one of their powerlink pins and the Bluetooth adapter only sends an audio signal. That's why they don't power up when you connect it directly. I'm sure Steve from sounds heavenly here on Beoworld can make the right cable for you.
Thank you Twg.
I am already in contact with Steve. but it sms that there is not option to connect by Bluetooth the BS2500 with BL2500, or anyway he is not aware of an acceptable option.
so I ask if somebody has done this kind of set up.
Then you'll need an additional trigger input that activates the speaker. For example: https://www.av-connection.com/?PGr=1760I have no experience with these cables. Some people say it works without any problems but Steve does not recommend the cables. So I guess the truth should be found somewhere in the middle. Here some discussions about it, including people using those cables:https://archivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/t/29486.aspx (Steves reply is in english, so don't be afraid of the german thread) ;)https://archivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/t/2420.aspx
Just search for Beolab + trigger cables.
Thank you Twg. I will check to find a solución
