All, I am in the process of moving my Beovision Avant 55. I have all the original packing materials, but I am missing the two screws or bolts that hold the two metal shipping stands to the TV. Does anyone know the size of these screws or bolts? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Chas.

The two transport screws you’re referring too are for the speakers. The metal feet simply slide up and click into the TV.

They were about 3” long. If you don’t have them I wouldn’t worry, if you ship it carefully and in the original box it will be fine. We packed an Avant and delivered it from London to Southampton in the original box and it was fine. The screws tighten up the speaker box to prevent it shaking about when shipped across the North Sea.

Thanks again. One last question reading the two silver sliding panels. Should I remove those as well and place them in the same box or leave them attached?

Remove these for sure! Bubble wrap them if you don’t have the square box for these. There was a space for them to slot into behind the boxed TV.

I found some screws for the speaker box ready for shipment next week overseas, but like I said previously if the set is moving locally not much need for these.
