Hey Guys,
In my hunt for a Beomaster 8000 i have been offered a Beomaster 6000 that apparantly works but its unable to turn the volume up or down, any idea what could be causing this?
I have also come across a SC60 cabinet, it seems to be missing the internal metal dividers which is a shame but are reproductions available anywhere? And does anyone have an idea of its value? really don't want to overpay.
Cheers, Jed.
Hey mate,
Sounds easy enough! Who might Martin be? im new to this forum unfortunately! I was actually after the 8000 but i like the 6000 just as much and is more fitting in era to my 4004 (its also easier to find!)
Cheers!
Right here.PM or email me.
Can you hear the volume motor running when you press the volume keys?If you can't the problem is most likely not with the belt but instead the motor or its electronic control.
Martin
Messaged you mate, but unfortunately it is looking like a motor/electronic control problem :(
Take a DC voltage reading across the motor terminals.
