Hi all,

in my quest to find an alternative solution for BMLink after switching to MacOS Catalina (which doesn't have iTunes anymore), I stumbled across shairplay (and similar streaming solution for the raspberry PI). I have shairplay running on a Pi here and when connecting directly to B&O Speakers music comes out fine. But I'd like to have that music on Masterlink so I can select it from any link room.

I have a BV10-32 which seems to have 2 analog audio inputs (one for AV3 - VGA input) and one as AV5 for video camera connected to the set. I activated both, added appropriate sources to my BEO4 and the TV set switches properly to the selected input. Only problem: all stays silent. No audio coming through.

So here are my questions:

(1) Is the BV10 only playing an audio source at AV3/5 if there's a corresponding video input?

(2) Has anyone successfully hooked up an additional audio source to the BV10? If so, please would you mind sharing your wisdom here?

regards

Torsten

Hello,

On my BV10-32's (and BV10-40's and any other ML-version of TV) I use an apple TV connected to HDMI. Eveywhere in house my apple tv's are under VMEM

Pressing VMEM gives me image and sound

Pressing AV+VMEM (out of standby) gives me sound alone and then I airplay (spotify, tune-in,...) to the corresponding apple TV.

The only tv where this does not work for me is on my BV6-26 (hdmi versions).

But connecting to an analog (cinch) should work as well, just press AV and then the source name

Good luck

Sending Audio to ML only works for me for sources connected to my BS3 which is set as Master TV in my system (analog)
