I have a small TV in my kitchen driven by a BeoSytem 3. I have BeoLab 4000 speakers (connected to the BS3) on top of the kitchen cabinets and often use them for joining NL multiroom audio. The sound is amazing and inspirational for cooking.
I thought about mounting an Essence wheely remote next to the BS3 IR receiver for general hands-on control on the wall without needing to grab the BeoRemote One. However, I wondered if I might be able to control PLAY and volume UP and DOWN if I replaced my blank hockey puck IR receiver with a hockey puck receiver with labeled buttons for an active kit. Does anyone know if this would work? And if so, what would the PLAY button trigger?
