It has been a while but I really could use your help and expertise.

I have re-connected with Vinyl and CD's and would like to set up a true listening experience in the living room of our 2nd home. The room is about 30x15, hardwood, oriental rugs and lots of soft furnishings.

The project is a white sheet of paper with no pre-conceived notion but a desire to to end up with a beautiful non tiring sound experience. The system does not need to provide any video infrastructure - just audio.

Currently the only "givens" are a) high quality analog TT and Cartridge (Clearaudio/Virtuoso) and Beolab 20 (using wireless connections). I think anything bigger than the Beolab would probably be an overkill given the size of the room, however, I am open to all suggestions.,

So, what would be the recommendation to connect these two pieces and how would one tie a great CD player ( recommendations) and the ability to stream music from my i phone ( Deezer).

Thanks a lot.

I’m not sure if the Lab20 have digital coaxial inputs, but as a transport the Beogram 5500, 6500 and 7000 (very little difference between them) are viewed very favourably by audiophiles. They all use variants of the early Philips radial transport which are supposed to be superior the the later linear tracking versions. I think this is mainly because those early radial transports were over engineered to some extent... anyway it could all be audiophile black magic and mumbo-jumbo. I’m currently using a beogram 7000 and I think the sound is excellent. Another forum user with much more kit and deeper pockets than myself has suggested the sound from the beogram 5500 is superior to the beosound 9000 when used purely as a transport, but I can’t comment as I’ve not heard them side by side.

Thank you Luke for the info on the cd 7000 and after reading your comments I have done some additional information and yes indeed this will be a great choice !!

Where I am really struggling and hopefully I get even the question correct.

What is the " something- the device" that I can plug an analog TT and analog CD player into that is capable of getting that information in a wireless fashion to the Beolab 20, and that would also enable or aid in handling streaming from Deezer on my iPhone
