Beomaster 3500 software update question

Hello,

I have a old beomaster 3500.

And i will to try update the software.

My questions are,witch eprom i need? (27c512?)

Where can i get the bin file for this new software so that i can burn the chip?

What is the difference between this software exactly? More functions? Clock Timer?

And when this update is done,can the beomaster correctly works with my beogram 3500 cd player?

I Hope anybody can help me with this,

Why would you want to update the software?

If your Beogram CD 3500 does not work correctly with your BM 3500, it's probably not a matter of software.

As far as I know, you can not use the clock/timer in the Beomaster 3500, as it requires a remote (and a receiver) with 2-way communication (like the Beolink 5000/7000).
In the 3500/4500 series, only the Beomaster 4500 had the receiver/transmitter for 2-way com. built in.

(edit: I can now see in an older thread, that the SW update makes it possible to use 2-way com - but you still need a 2-way Beolink remote to use it)
