I suppose you both tried the power reset. Holding the power button on the remote for up to 60secs. Like a cold boot.

Then let the TV start and do it’s own thing for a while?

Hi Beoaus, have not tried that. Even did not know that is a cold boot!!! I assume holding power button for 60 seconds when the tv is on? Will try that later today. Thanks.

No. It just turns the TV off.

The only reset I have ever seen in the Avant manual (not the ng model) was to re select your country and follow the prompts and that resets the TV

Is your NG Android ?

I have reset my BV14 to factory via the service menu before so if it’s Android it can be done

“reinstall tv”

I believe its the NG version. So a "cold" restart of the TV should restart the Android OS.

May require a power off as well.

Beoaus.
