Always loved my MK1 A9 and wish I'd never sold it. Luckily stumbled across an Edge which arrived this afternoon. Set it up (relatively pain-free experience) and it sounds fantastic. Arguably as good as the A9 MK1, maybe with a little more treble?
Looks fantastic, too. Love the effect when you nudge the speaker backwards and forwards, but I won't joke, I cut my finger on the side of the aluminium. It's fairly sharp! I have a plaster on my finger as there was a fair bit of blood. I don't think you hold the sides when using the rocking effect to control volume...
Still, glad I did my part for B&O in difficult times.

Hiort:Looks great! Must be much more powerful than the A9 MkI, right?

I'd say no, not hugely more powerful. The A9 is a beast! One of the most rounded speakers I've experienced. Edge is just much more compact and also gone off the design of the A9 a little.
Definitely recommended though.
Since you mention your A9. I have my A9MK2 placed in a location very similar to you. It can easily fill a pretty decent sized room. I have a Stage just out of site on the other side :)
I think the Edge looks great!
B&O in my life 😊:
