Beosound 8 has 3.5mm aux input?

In the connections of the Beosound 8 there is a mini-jack. Nothing happens when I try to connect something there.

Does anyone know what this input is for?

Is there any retail mode avaliable for the unit to activate it?

Hi,

It's not an audio input, so there's nothing there to activate.

If you wish to use a source that has a minijack output, you'll have to use an adapter cable that gets you into the two RCA adapters.
