BeoSound Core + Essence default music

When I press the Essence’s top button to turn the speakers on, it plays some instrumental music. But it’s not my music and it’s not using my Spotify account. What is it playing?

Tune In possibly? The app would show you what is playing.

I have experienced different products reverting to a standard set of (quite good) TuneIn stations, such as the German Rbb Kultur and NTS.

These seem to be pre-set by B&O.

Quite possibly this is what you’re listening to

You're probably correct. Don't get me wrong, I really like the music, generally, but don't know what it is. I've tried using Siri/Shazam and it sometimes work, but not always.

As far as I know, this is the default tone so when you visit it will have sounds coming out.
