I have installed an essence remote next to my Beovision 11. Is it true that you can't get the remote into a mode where it sends the Beo4 join command?

The table on the FAQ indicate so, but I thought that the primary purpose of the Essence remote was to be able to join.

Does anyone have a way to make the Beovision 11 joining an existing audio stream?

Hi Kelwin,

The top “button” of the Essence remote is “Join”; looks like an empty (CORRECTED) circle.

I use an Essence remote in mode 7 with my BeoSystem 4. Pressing the top button does not sent a JOIN command. It only works with a source that has been assigned to react to the MUSIC button via programming of that source on the BeoSystem 4.
