Does anybody know for sure whether the Beolab 6000 and 6002 base plates are exactly the same, i.e.whether they are compatible and interchangeable?

In other words, can one attach a Beolab 6000 base plate to a Beolab 6002 speaker column? Will this fit perfectly?

Many thanks Smile

Cosmetically they look different, as the post above - but they are indeed interchangeable.  I have 6002 bases on my 6000's in the dining room!

The only thing which differs are the switch position instructions on the underside, so bear that in mind when choosing left/right/line as they're different on the 6000's and 6002's.

Good that you raise this warning! Is that just for cosmetic reasons, or do they technically not fit?

Thanks Smile

Will not fit. If you force it, may damage the LED light.
