Hi All.

This could be a tricky problem.

Until recently the configuration below worked. Let me define what worked means….  From any room I could select CD or Radio and the BS9000 would pipe sound thru any Masterlink or Network linked system (via the BLC), into the local speakers, whether they were connected to a TV or not.

It still does with main  one exception. That is the entertainment room.

In that room from about a month ago……When I start the BS9000 by selecting CD from the Beo1BT remote. The BS9000 springs to life, the AVANT 55 NG indicates its joined to the CD but no sound comes thru the Avant's speakers. I can control the CD, forward tracks, change to another CD, but still no sound. Been driving me batty.

The BLC, looks to be configured correctly (works for the Horizon) and the BS9000's sound comes thru in all other rooms.

I just can't figure what has happened or what I can do to get sound from the BS900 working again in the Entertainment room.

All number or resets, power off's and more has been done. There is also an option in the Avant when you link a NM/ML convertor, to add sound to local speakers, This option can't be selected and I don't think it was before. Neither is it needed for the Beovision Horizon which can play BS9000 music.

B&O have no support perosn in Australia anymore so I am asking here if anyone could help?

Thanks Beoaus

I had almost the same problem. My Avant NG 55 came back from a warranty fix. I had to reconfigure everything.

I was able to play CD from BS9000 through BLC to any BeoPlay (A9, A67, M5) device with sound. But on the Avant NG, the CD kicks on but no sound. I changed all the possible settings (BLC in same room/loudspeaker from TV to be used). No luck. I gave up, shut down the TV.

After a while I came back, started CD from the Beo1BT and guess what, the sound came out of the BL6000 as expected.

I think the problem is, that changing the product integration stuff with the BLC needs a reboot of the Avant NG. The changes work fine when integrating a BeoPlay device, but not with the BLC.

If mains off for 5 mins and on again of the whole system, waiting another 2-3 mins till reboots doesn’t help, the tv needs a factory reset - in NG is called - reinstall all. Don’t forget to power off your router too.

Try V.Master instead of A.Slave. I experienced something simular; suddenly my BS3000 didn't play in NL anymore. Changing from A.Slave to V.Master solved the problem.

Yes, BLC should be setup as V.MASTER, if you only want to distribute BS9000 CD to other NL devices.

Map to NL only CD. Visible on ML is nothing.

Thanks so much for the replies. I'll try the V.Master setting again.
