Hello.
Thought I would share a pic of the century that I had restored.
The frets are very easy to recover (you just have to make sure the fabric lines up the same way.)
Thank you Leslie (the man) for the double sided tape!! This was sitting in the draw for a over a year until I finally had time to get around to doing this.
The finish is very hard to tell from factory.
Nice and bright!
Interesting project and I guess more pics are coming? Meanwhile, may I ask what kind of tape you use?
(I have used double-sided 3M but I am not totally satisfied with the "performance")
My B&O products: Beosound 9000, Beosound 2300, Beosound Century, Beolab 8000, Beolab 6000, Beolab 4000 x2, Beolab 3500, Beolab 2000, Beolab 10, Beolink Active x2, Beotime, Beo5 x2, Beo4, A9 keyring x2, LC2 dimmer x6 and growing....
I'm not sure, you would have to ask Leslie, I tried to post all four pics but unsure how to do! I would like to know as well. I will send him an email. Regards.

Maybe this : http://www.quality-dream-audio.co.uk/speaker-recovering-kits-and-replacement-frets/8808.html ?
Good job Rex, costs around 10 euro? With patience and good quality DS sticky tape you can do the job.

Hi,
Great job.
Thinking about doing this once I redecorate, what sort of cloth did you use?
Regards
Toby
Thank you Leslie - & for the tape. Toby, I used lycra from a dress making shop. They had MANY colours to choose from. Regards.
How did you manage to pop out all the plastic clips? Is there a certain way to undo them? I am scared they will snap.
