I can go into Eclipse sound settings and adjust the default volume setting.  I assumed that it would be the same default volume when I went into the Apple TV attached to it.  But it isn’t. Is there a way of adjusting the default sound setting on Apple TV?

Do you use the MyButtons on your BeoRemote One? If so, switch to the Apple TV, adjust the speaker groups and volume to your taste, then store on one of your unused MyButtons by pressing and holding.

Next time you press that MyButton it will switch to the Apple TV and set the volume to your stored level.

Yes, I have set up MyButtons set up  for Apple TV already. In the sound section of the Eclipse settings, I have set the default volume to 60, and I assumed it would apply to everything attached to the Eclipse, but the default volume on ATV comes on at  55.  I’ve been in to ATV settings and cannot see a volume control to adjust The volume to 60 as well. Am I looking in the wrong place?

The settings you store in the MyButtons override the defaults.

Press the MyButton for the Apple TV.

Adjust the volume to 60.

Press and hold the same AppleTV MyButton.

Whenever you press that MyButton in future, the AppleTV will come on at volume 60.

Worked a treat!  Thanks very much

As you’ve been so helpful, could I ask you something else?  When I first got this system, I adjusted the Eclipse picture settings, but I seem to remember I tweaked the picture settings for ATV alone. Did I remember correctly, or do the Eclipse picture settings adjust ATV picture settings as well?

Thanks again

Hi

Any thoughts on this?

Sorry, I’ve been otherwise engaged.

The beauty of the MyButtons is that they will save (most of) your current source, picture and sound settings.

So again, after pressing the MyButton for AppleTV, just tweak picture and sound to your taste, then long-press the MyButton to store the settings.

You’ll soon learn which settings can be stored and which can’t.
