Hi all,
I got a pair of E8 during Christmas and started early on notice problem with regards to earbud audio balance. The problem starts with an short interrupt(almost like when you slightly disconnect a 3.5 mm headjack from a source) and is not always noticeable, but when it is there it is very clear and I have noticed that it is easiest to reproduce it when in a phone call(I'm using Samsung S8).
Attempts to solve the problem:#1: Factory resetting the device multiple times along with re-installing the app and clearing the BT cache on smartphone. Problem still noticed after this. #2: Verified this both on Android(Samsung S8) & iOS(iPhone 6S) with same symptoms. #3: Changing the distance between smartphone and E8. Problem still noticed. #4: Turning off & on the earbud solved the problem until the problem is noticed next time.
The buds have been at B&O service center and they concluded that they could not find this problem and I have a full novel with the B&O customer support on this case and it seems they did not even read the description as they have not tried to reproduce the problem as described. Now they are requesting a second round of testing in their service center. So now the earbuds are closing up on being in a service center for half of the time since I got them.
I am close to give up on B&O and specially their customer service, but want to see if anyone have experienced similar problems and could share their experience on how to solve this?
I had literally the same problem that you had even with costumer service. What i did was to complain more and luckily o got a new pair and presented the same problem the next week.
It is a shame because they sound like heaven.
Best earphones i ever had
It is very sad that a company like B&O that brand themselves as a high-end brand deliveries on the audio but fails with the quality control and customer service.
Me for one have left the company for any new purchases as other companies like Shure, Jabra, Sennheiser have better products with the end-to-end customer service connected to their sales.
