I just bought a Cona that should add some more bass to my Beocenter 9000 with CX100 speakers. The problem is that the left out doesn’t work, no sound at all.

I have opened it and everything looks ok. No loose wires, no leaking capacitors. The Cona was bought privately online and the seller said it worked perfectly, but...............

Hi,

You can't always tell a problem just by inspection. Broken connections and failed solder joints can look normal to the naked eye. If you have a DMM (multi-meter) start checking continuity of the wiring. There is most likely a break somewhere.

You were right sonavor. It was a break in one of the DIN-plugs in the Beocenter. Thanks for your advice.
