hi all, I finally have all the equipment I wanted, so I'm trying to set it up.

Situation : Beosound 9000, connected to a Beolab 2 SW, the Beolab 2 outputs are connected to Beolab 8000 pair.

Next to it is a Beovision 7-55 with a Beolab 7-6 centre speaker.

Both devices work, but now I would want to connect them with masterlink to be able to use the Beolab2 & Beolab 8000 as front speakers & suwbwoofer on the Beovision. And of course still use them as speakers whenever I play the BS.

I connected the masterlink cable to the BS & the BV (that's the easy part), but now to what V.OPT option do I set the BV 7-55 and to what A.OPT dp I set the BS 9000 ?

And how do I add the speakers to the list of speakers on the BV ?

How do I make this work ?

Connect the BL8000 and BL2 to the BV7-55.

Keep the master link between them.

Choose speaker roles in menu.

Video opt 2

Audio opt 1 (I think)

"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"

Should be fairly easy......after reading the user guide

https://bangolufsenassistentgohe.blob.core.windows.net/manuals/TELEVISIONS/BEOVISION%207-40%2055/beovision7-40-55_userguide_english.pdf#page58

Pages 22 and 58

The BS9000 will be in option 0 when no speakers attached there.

Video in option 1.

All controlling going through the 7-55.

thanks guys.

Sorry for late reply, I had some internet issues (and even no mobile internet, imagine ...)

I connected the BL8000 & BL2 to the Beovision, so all speakers are connected there.

Then I put the BS9000 in option 0, and TV in option 1 (if I remember well, lol), all commands indeed now go via the TV, works like a dream :)Took a bit of time to find out how HDMI inputs work etc, but once you know ... ;)
Now I have to find out how to remove unwanted items from my Beo4 list menu :)

Everything in standby!

Push List and the red (standby) dot at the same time - then let loose.

Looking at the display and pushing List several time takes you to the wanted action.

And so on.
