Lost my beotime key!

How do I open my beotime digital clock without the key? I’m tried a metal skewer and iPhone key but nothing.

With a thin silicone mat or a rubber glove, press carefully against the black plastic battery compartment cover and carefully turn anti-clockwise.

A pair of circlip pliers will also work as long as the ends are small enough.

Just take a cork (from a wine bottle) and 2 thin nails...

Thanks everyone, the batteries had corroded which is why we had so much trouble.
