I've a new Essence Mk2 and have set it up in my network.
I'm using the B&O app on Android and it shows it's playing music but no sound is coming out...
It's connected to my BL8000s which worked fine on my Beosound 5 yesterday, I got some RJ45 to PL cables from Sounds Heavenly.
The app shows it playing from radio, Spotify or my NAS.
The Spotify app makes sound from my phone, can connect to my tv and makes sound but when it connects to the Essence no sound comes out...
The Essence remote paired fine and can adjust the volume.
Am I missing something obvious?

If you haven't already, try turning the volume up or down (possibly a few times) on the app (use the circle with the play/pause button in the middle) or possibly the phone's volume control. Sometimes I have to do this to get my Bs2 to wake up.
One other thought... do your speakers wake up from stand-by (i.e. do their lights turn from red to green)? I guess I don't know what I'd do with this information, as fiddling with the volume has always fixed it for me.

Thanks for your email saying that the Essence was the cause of the issue. I have emailed you details of how we can adapt the wiring to work with the Core that B&O have given you to replace the faulty Essence. Please ask if you need any further help.
