Hello from Norway. I just bought an Beocenter 7007 from a guy for 20€. Everything works fine except tapedeck. It klicks and I see the head moving but it retracs back. Is it hard to disasemble this badboy?Anyone know what problem could this be?Can it be that motor is dead?

Here is a video I recorded of the problem

There are probably a few problems:

1) It needs a new belt and idler wheels (ask Dillen for the right set)

2) There could be broken parts that need to be glued back in.

The mechanics are the same (or similar) to the Beocord 9000. If you search on beolover.blogspot for Beocord 9000 you can see how to take it apart and repair a few things. For the Beocenter 7007 you also need open the turntable part to access the cable that leads to the tape mechanism where you can deattach the cable which makes it so much easier to work on.
