Hi

Can anyone tell me how to access internal fuses on the 800 speaker?

No power to one of them. Have checked the obvious andchanged speakers round but definitely no power or red/hgreen ledcomingon.

Thanks

You would have to take off the frets then unscrew the amp (where the heat grills are) and have a look. They are also held by double sided tape so they are quite hard to pull off. I am not sure about where exactly the fuse is on the board.

The fuses used in BL8000's are slightly different than you probably expect. These are small black round pots. You have to measure them to find out if they are blown.

But from all the BL8000's I've had (100+), I never had one with a blown fuse. Broken traces caused by foamrot or defective (standby)transformers are more common.

Hello!

I have one B8000 with no power and Ive opened it.

Cant see any burned component or anything suspicious.Fuses are OK as expected.

Can you help me troubleshoot the standby transformer so I can try to fix it?

I can take some photos if it helps.

Thanks!
