Hello.I purchased a Beogram 1700 online.And when i received it i discovered that the tonearm won't lift up when i start it up (press 33)It just drags the arm towards the record.It's the same if i put the arm on the record manually, it plays fine, but won't lift when the record ends, or when i press pause. There's just no movement up. The seller says it worked fine.I have checked the counterweight. It's set on 1,5 (mmc20s)I know there's been a few discussions here about similar issues, and that maybe i should try lubricating the arm. But i just can't seem to find any working links to show me how it's done.
