Hello all, I;ve been struggling for the last few days trying to connect a my nvidia shield to my MK 1 Beovision 7-40.

I've been searching the forums and facebook groups so far no luck. Maybe someone here can help? This is what I have tried and this is how its connected.

I have connected my shield to a hdmi to dvi and audio converter (I used this one as it says its HDCP 2.2 compliant and has coaxial out https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B08CK59T9X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1&fbclid=IwAR3ebMpgZBPb_rspTl-C1ftLmzxLFCx0erQPUz1zE702VVEISVP4OrHUef4)

Its connected to the DVI port of the TV with a hdmi to DVI cable (but i've also tried a normal hdmi cable to a hdmi / dvi adapter) and the audio is connected using a new coaxial cable from the hdmi converter to A1 (I've tried A2, A3 and A4 as well)

At the moment I get no sound at all. (I've tried using the 3.5mm audio out of the hdmi converter to AV4 RCA of the TV , but im unable to select AV4 as the audio in the beovision menu for the source, weird?

Video comes up looking great though. Much clearer than the old hdmi \ scart converter I was using before. But I now get a HDCP error while watching such thinks like netflix.

So my questions are how do I fix the HDCP error? And how do I get audio through A1 (I prefer to use the coaxial audio as I think its better quality? My TV has 5 beolab speakers and a beolab2 sub connected to it, so I want the best sound for these)

I've gone through the beovision menu and it says.

I've been trying different settings in my nvidia box as well, but at the moment no setting has made the audio come through the TV.

I hope someone can help, as this is getting very frustrating.

I've replaced the nvidia shield with a NUC (mini PC) and now everything is working. I guess the shield had the issue.

I think I know the reason for no sound. I had a BV7-32 mkI and the only sound that was compatible with the TV was 5.1 and not stereo. Try a movie and see if it works. I had a Mac Mini connected.
