Hello!

There was a thread that i can't find anymore on a BS1 that all of sudden stopped working properly after software update, and I believe I have something similar going on. My BS1 is on software 1.22.38751

Now for the 3rd time in a week the BS1 disconnects from network, have to do a full reset and I can't get TuneIn to work. On top of that it seems that sounds characteristics have changed, the sound is more muffled. Plays iTunes library via network (not BT) through B&O app.

So my unit is working, via the network but just not exact the same as I had it before. I miss my radio :-(

What is going on?

This is the thread you're looking for.

B&O products are V1-32, BS2, H95, E8 and an Essence remote.
11-46 now replaced with Sony A90J 65”, Sony HT-A9, Sony UBP-X800M2 and Sony SRS-NS7.

Hi! I’m the one who started the other thread.

And as per my original complaint I fully agree with you that the sound characteristics have 100% changed (and not for the better). Things “seem” a little better now but I can definitely hear that the speakers aren’t performing as they used to ever since I updated them.

I’ve mostly stopped using both of my speakers because I’ve got other priorities and I haven’t actually been home much lately, so if you manage to solve this problem (either by contacting B&O or otherwise) kindly assist in updating this thread. For now I’ve resorted to mostly playing music on my PC which has its own dedicated studio monitors, and also my two BeoPlay A1’s which still work fine.

I have disconnected BS1 from mains for 48 hours (to drain battery), reconnected and works again with TuneIn and everything.

Still believe that latest software update changed sound settings, have set bass back to -3 , loudness is on treble is on 0

So at least my kitchen radio (main purpose of BS1) is working again :-)
