Update database Beoremote one

Hi guys, hopefully some one can help me. I bought a LG Cx with the stage and beoremote one. Loving it but one small problem. Every time I turn off the tv my beoremote one tries to update the database. First time it says fail, second time it will get to 21% and then fails. This happens every time I turn it off. I installed the app from B&O for using the beoremote one. Software updates are all on automatic. Nothing helps. Deleted the app, tried factory reset, nothing. Anyone who can fix this problem? Thanks in advance.

Hi Marc,

Try putting brand new alkaline batteries into the BROne.

Marc, do you have another Bluetooth device you could pair it with that would act as an update source? Maybe a BeoSound Essence Mk II? Or a Core?

If not, hopefully one of the others with the same combo will be able to help you. Sorry.

Hi Lawrence, I do have a Core. What should I do?

Hi Marc,

Pair the BROne to the Core (Bluetooth).

Turn on and use the Core via the BROne.

The next time you turn off the Core by pressing the Power button on the BROne, it should trigger a software update of the BROne from the Core.

Now, this is just a last ditch attempt to update your BROne. I don’t know if the LG B&O app serves up a different software version for use with the LG / Stage combo.

I hope at least one person who owns the same combo as you can offer some advice, if only to confirm the software version of their BROne.
