Hello, I have a problem, which I cannot solve, and I hope you can help me.
What do I have? A Bv10, and a BS4 with a pair of BL6000s connected with Powerlink to the Beosound 4 A Bv10, and a BS4 with a pair of BL6000s connected with Powerlink to the Beosound 4
What do I want to achieve? use the BL6000 together with the Beovision 10's own speakers for an audio system like the one below.
What did I do? I connected the BV and BS with a masterlink cable, and selected Option1 in both cases, as the instructions indicate.
What is the problem? I can't make it work as a single device: the volume of the speakers connected to the BS4 is independent of that of the speakers of the BV10, and the two overlap producing echo.
My question is, can I get a configuration with the BL6000s connected to the BS4 working as front speakers and the Bv10 speakers as central? What I have to do? what am I doing wrong?
Thank you very much.

Hello,
just connect your Beosund4 beolab 6000 speakers to the Beovision 10.
Now set the V.Opt to 2 and A.Opt to 0
the Beosound 4 will be controlled via the TV Infrared sensor over the masterlink cable
In the sound setup menu of the TV set the front left and front right speakers to beolab 6000.
Now you can listen to audio sources and video sources.
The mentioned V.Opt =1 setting is used if only the TV is used. If Audio and TV are connected via masterlink, as you want it, the VOpt=2 and AOpt=0 setting is necessary.

the second pait of BL 6000 can be used as rear speakers for the TV. Gives a nice Dolby Surround system.
Thanks for your answer. But, is that setup to use when the speakers are connected to the BV? In my case they are connected to the BS. I have in that way because all the connection cables (apple tv, bluray, etc) of the BV are inside the wall, and the powerlinks do not fit inside the tube with the rest of the cables.

I’d agree with Ralph-Marcus.
Don’t let that problem keep you away from making a decent/better setup.
Once done, you’ll enjoy your BV the more.
(PL cables are thin and should be easy to hide).

There is a tv - and there is a BV
Thanks for the advice. If it is definitely impossible to do it otherwise, I will try to do it as you say, and connect the BL directly to the BV.
Finally I connected the BL6000 directly to the BV10, and this with Masterlink to the BS4, as recommended in the previous posts. And my user experience is very good. I can now really enjoy multiple audio and video sources at the push of a button, listening to them through the BV10's center speakers and the BL6000's side speakers. I can have TV, DTV, Blueray and HDD movies (through a Dune), Apple TV and Chromecast, and now Radio fm, CD music, SD card music, and online music (with the Essence connected to Aux.In) like spotify, etc.
I think it's quite impressive, for an almost vintage equipment, and partly "low cost" (Essence, BS and BL were bought already used and quite cheap). Despite their age, they work well, handle very well and everything fits perfectly.
In relation to B&O we usually talk a lot about price and cost, but in my opinion we tend to forget to talk about value.
Thanks again for the help.

Great to hear that you’ve found your solution.
Didn’t I tell you....there are always options for a better setup, even with ‘older’ B&O stuff.
