Hi All,

I have just noticed that my beocenter 3300 has a low buzz that only occurs when the phono button is depressed? What is puzzling me further is that it doesn’t start straight away but after about 8 seconds and builds up from nothing to a significant buzz?

it sounds like a ground loop but as it only occurs on the phone setting and isn’t constant I was thinking it may be something else? Any thoughts and help would be greatly appreciated?

Many thanks,

Dan

I have the same issue with my Beocenter 3300. A low hummmm, only in phono. Sounds like an open phono ground. But it isn't that. Turntable is grounded.

Wonder what to check next?

Yes.

Thank you.

The turntable plays on other receivers perfectly, and that's how we know that there is an issue with the Receiver; not the TT.
