I have a Beomaster 3300.Can anybody tell me which remote control units (terminals) will work with it?
(besides the obvious answer, Terminal 3300)Terminal 5000 Looks nearly identical.I tried one that is all black, with aluminum buttons, and printed on the top of it is "Beocenter Control Module" - and this one did NOT work.
Thanks,
No Beocenter control module will work.Terminal 5000 is for Beomaster 5000 only.
Beomaster 3300 will work with Terminal 3300 and Beolink 1000 etc.
Martin
Thanks for your response.
So the only other remote besides Terminal 3300 that is compatible with the Beomaster 3300 is Beolink 1000... and, "etc."
I know the etcetera means, and so on, but I don't quite understand what you are trying to say.
Are there OTHER remotes, besides the Beolink 1000 (and the obvious, Terminal 3300) that will work with the 3300?
Or did you mean something else by "etc." ??
Thank you,
Bill
Hello Bill,I think with Beolink 1000 and "etc." Martin refers to the fact that Beolink1000 and other B&O remontes from that era like for example Beo4, Beolink5000 or Beolink7000 are using the same IR-codes. So if you can control your Beomaster with an Beolink1000, the Beo4 will also work as any other B&O remonte that uses the same IR-codes.Beolink5000 and Beolink7000 are two-way remontes and will work when set to "one way mode", but as long as you don't have any two-way produchts (like the 5500/6500/7000 stack systems or Beocenter9500) there is really no point in investing in a two-way remonte.Beolink1000 and Beo4 are both very well designed, very robust and long living remontes that you can get used rather cheap, so no need to buy a new one (if available).CheersFoxtrott
