Hi everyone,

I own a Beovision 7 - 40' MK6 that works fine. The only problem is that the loudspeaker (Beolab 7-2), whose rear is coated with a sort of black rubbery plastic, got sticky.

I tried more times to clean it with different cleaning products, but with no success.

Who could help me to fix this problem?

PS I find scandalous that a product of this level and price, could have similar problems.

Several threads here on this: just search for ‘sticky’ and you will find them.

On Youtube there are tons of videos about how to get rid of the sticky surface.

However - it will be hard work with a 7-2.

As for ‘scandalous’....I am pretty sure they would have done it differently, if they - at that time - had known how sticky this sometimes become with age.
