Now that th analogue signal has been switched off in my area, does anyone know if there is a way to record on to a DVD from a freeview box using the B&O DVD2. I can do it via the hard drive - but for something that I want to put on a DVD that seems a long way round!!!

The DVD2 is designed ONLY to record to hard disc. If you want to archive the material you simply transfer it from hard disc to a blank DVD (copying is done at 4x speed, so a 2hr video actually takes 23 minutes to transfer. I have been using that system for some years and the end product is superb!!
