I have connected up a second hand HDR2 which has the red standby light on to a NEC monitor via scart, SVHS., COMPOSITE and RGB. Then used my Beo4 remote to try and operate the HDR2. I can't get a signal on the monitor and the HDR2 in stuck on standby. I have gone through the HDR2 instructions and can't find the problem. My questions are; Can you use and operate the HDR2 on a non B & O TV? If you can then please, can anyone help and tell me how?
You need a B&O in order to operate the HDR2... The Beo4 controles the HDR2 through the B&O TV.
