Opera software. Is it behind BBC iPlayer and Spotify, with much more to come according to Pocket Lint?

THIS IS VERY INTERESTING - INDEED!!!

Question is: (when) will there be a SW-update for BV11/12NG, BSys4 and V1 tv's?

Aren't the current Spotify and YouTube apps, which run when you click CD etc, based on the new Opera framework? Sounds like they might be. The Opera news piece takes in the present tense, as if they are already using the framework.

As moxxey said, Spotify and YouTube are already using the SDK and the B&O Smart TV platform (NetTV) has always used Opera, so this isn't really anything special.

But - when you look at what is possible when you use the Opera SDK, there must be much more to come.

Curiously there is no press release from B&O to this (yet).

Some pretty big things in the horizon. Just hold still a little longer.

Don't ask, cause I can't tell yet :)

Ah, you know... A little B&O here, a little there

I won't ask about 'the pretty big things', but I would like to know if this will be rolled out as a SW-update..

..or if these features will be for new tv's only.

Crosses fingers for a built-in Plex app that can be accessed directly via a LIST command

I have had a few request for this and I use Plex on my mac, it has a great interface that knocks the integrated Homemedia for 6!
