Hi there,
I'm missing the decent looks of my trusty old Beomaster 3000...right now I'm using a Beocenter 9500 and I am thinking of replacing the mirror steel panels with those brushed ones of the Beocenter 9000. I think they should fit?!?!
So if anyone has some spares or is thrashing a broken Beocenter 9000 for parts...any donors will be appreciated (of course I'm willing to pay for the panels ;-) but my funds are a bit limited and this will be a purely fun project, nothing essential, so please do not offer, if you expect to get paid B&O spare part prices)
Yours, cheers
Ray
They won't work without some modification to the CD lid.

Ah...can you tell me a bit more about that?
Something that one can handle with some skills or do I need to have a machine shop?
Yours,
Can be done by a handyman.
You will need to transfer the plastic under the 9500 CD lid as it forms part of the CD clamper mechanism.
Thanx for the answer.
So I simply switch the complete tape lid and the middle panel...and keep the plastic of the 9500 CD lid and transfer only the metal part on that side?
Doesn't sound too difficult...I thought the metal is clipped on the plastic part...or is it glued?
