Hi,

I currently have an Beolink 1610 converter! I'm wondering if i could use the 1610 as an 1611 audio source (when connected to a Beolab 3500?

There is an switch on this converter to switch between the 1610 and 1611!

Do i have to set this converter to 1611 if possible, or should i use an AC power cord?

Please let me know how to use this converter!

Thanks,
Aymeric

Hi

The purpose of the Beolink converter 1610 was to connect AV 9000 Audio and AV 9000 TV
The position on the switch was set to 1610. To function it needs AC power:
The converter was also designed as a Beolink converter between the AAL system and ML system.
The AAL system was the system before MasterLink. When used as this the switch was set to 1611
The 1610 MK I had two ML sockets The MK II han only one ML socket.
So the answer to your question is no.
