i just purchased a Beovision 8 - 32, and I am having a hard time connecting my PS3 through a HDMI connection. I am not sure how I should go about setting it up in the connections menu.

We plugged the PS3 into the HDMI, then started the [TV] (for example) then used [MENU] to be able to select the configuration settings.

Having found a space AVx port, you select that, associate it with a command (we chose DVD2) and the chose HDMI-x for the HDMI port we had used.

Since the PS3 cannot be controlled via the PUC (without a special kit fron convert IR to bluetooth) we did not associate a PUC.

Then you add [DVD2] (or whatever) to the Beo4, and then press [DVD2] and you should see the PS3 screen on the BV8.

The trick is to Connect both hdmi and standard connection simultaneously . Set hdmi to dvd and standard cables To say (v aux) then switch the settings for each at Beovision Menu be sure the standard def connection is working.

Then switch visible standard ps3 connection from standard to hdmi ..You may need to do a display setup and audio setup through ps3 (second to last menu item left ) scroll down to display settings ...may also need to adjust white balance and another setting for hdmi there. Switch to hdmi input ( in my example DVD) on the Beovision

That should make it work.

Just went though this setting up ps3 also as media server from computer.

Hope this helps
